Turner Classic Movies 15th Anniversary Celebration in April

This is a very special month for Turner Classic Movies. As TCM celebrates the first 15 years of their wondrous existence, I'll be posting comments and videos related to the celebration here throughout the month. I think that you'll find yourself moved and enchanted by this one, "15 Years in 90 Seconds":

As part of the celebration of the 15th Anniversary, 15 TCM fans were asked to be Guest Programmers, and were flown to Atlanta to tape intros and outros for their favorite movies with Robert Osborne. The interviews with these individuals, ranging from a 14 year old fan of Fred Astaire to a 69 year old man who recalls seeing such great classics as Double Indemnity (1944) in real theaters will be seen from April 13th through April 17th during primetime on TCM.

An interview by me with several of the Guest Programmers is posted on the TCM Movie Morlocks Blog this week, and can be found here.

You may also enjoy visiting a TCM 15th Anniversary Mini-Site that TCM has set up with milestones of year by year info, interviews and biographies of the 15 TCM Fan Guest Programmers. TCM will be adding more to this site as the month progresses. It is found here.
